David's Rise

After slaying Goliath, David quickly rises to prominence in Israel. Everyone loves David. Everyone, that is, except Saul. Saul's jealousy results in multiple attempts to thwart God's perfect plan to remove Saul's line and replace him with someone better. God took his favor from Saul and gave it to David. David was successful because he loved the Lord and did God's will with Love. God made him successful in everything he did for the Lord. He did stumble, but did repent and ask for forgiveness.
